While the tea party/GOP puts the target on Obama and other Democrats backs. . .
Edited on Sat Nov-06-10 10:24 AM by wndycty
. . .we are targeting or have targeted:

President Obama
Jon Stewart
MSNBC/Comcast
Blue Dogs
Dems we think are Blue Dogs
Rahm Emanuel
Tim Kaine
Robert Gibbs
Larry Summers
Tim Geithner
Elizabeth Warren (After she accepted a position we lobbied for her to get)
Nancy Pelosi
Harry Reid
Any Democrat or progressive who is not Democratic or progressive enough
Arne Duncan
Eric Holder
The list goes on

I say that all to say, from the very moment the results came in on the beautiful night in November '08. The opposition has been focused on our president, our Representatives and our Senators.

Us? We have a different target everyday, but we really have not targeted the real enemy and we be better start doing that soon.

1. Nah, too boring. I have ADHD. Always pick the closest target.
Besides we all know that the real enemy is the corporatocracy and we have no idea how to beat them.

2. The real enemy, you mean Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson?
Republicans are quite predictable. We know what they stand for and what they will be doing to stop us..The real enemies are those that say they are Democrats and then do everything in their power to stop any Democratic legislation. If any Liberal or even close to Liberal bill ever came to the Senate, both of those two said they would side with Republicans in a filibuster to prevent the bills to even be debated, let alone brought up for a vote...They both still enjoy powerful Chairmanships in important committees while siding with Republicans any time legislation hits the Senate that would actually help the people instead of the corporations..

4. I can do without Lieberman and Nelson, however as long as they caucus with the Democrats. . .

. . .they are less of an enemy than Olympia Snowe wouldn't you agree?

6. No I do not agree
We know exactly what Snowe will do and say at every opportunity.. Those two claim to be Democrats but stop any and all Democratic Bills that come to the Senate. They are back stabbers of the very worst variety while Snowe is up front that she is a Republican and will side with Republicans. While I abhore Republicans I do admire their ability to stand together for their cause...United we stand and Divided we fall... We fell "Big Time"

7. Actually, the Tea Party has also targeted the Republicans that
don't toe the most extremist Tea Party line: Mike Castle, for example.

11. I wasn't suggesting that they succeeded in winning when they did that. I was just pointing
out that the Tea Party doesn't just target Dems. The OP implied that Teabaggers target Dems and Dems target Dems. I was pointing out that Teabaggers target anyone who is not sufficiently batsh*t crazy, regardless of party.

9. I will always be against Holder.
He could served dutifully and loyally under George Bush since his department is virtually the exact same when it comes to constitutional rights and protections.
