Step by Step Action to Rid the Country of Bush, Cheney and Rove
Edited on Wed May-23-07 12:40 PM by SaveAmerica
It's not about the Democrats in Congress anymore, it's about US, the people of the United States of America and what we must do to Save America. I will not take another moment of this, our service men and women are depending on US, the fate of our country depends on us. WE CAN'T SIT HERE ANYMORE AND WONDER WHAT TO DO, THE FATE OF OUR COUNTRY DEPENDS ON US!!

FIRST:

Make a list of every one of your contacts who you know disagrees with Bush at least on the issue of Iraq (if everyone does this the goal would be to reach at least 70% of Americans). WE NEED THE MODERATE REPUBLICANS WHO HELPED CHANGE CONGRESS LAST NOVEMBER!! Your list of contacts will include friends, family, co-workers, democratic and progressive forums and blogs. Go to your newspaper's web page and add the editor's e-mail to your list of contacts. Every single person you know who has a brain and cares about this country should be contacted by you. If you are active in any way in your local Democratic Party, definitely contact them and get them in on the mission.

SECOND:

After you have your list, tell each and every person on it to e-mail, write, and call their Senators, Representatives, and Nancy Pelosi. Give them a link to find their congressman's contact info http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home (click on Congress on left). Nancy Pelosi's address is Office of the Speaker, H-232, US Capitol, Washington, DC 20515, her number is (202) 225-4965.

Your message to your contacts will be short and sweet, you're sending to people you know are against Bush's war, you need no links to anything, no talking them into anything. Just tell them that if they are unhappy in any way with the way Iraq is being handled to contact their Congressmen and Pelosi and tell them. Tell them that Bush, Cheney and Rove need to resign and be removed from Washington before they do any more longer lasting damage. Tell them our service men and women are depending on them. EVERYONE IN WASHINGTON MUST FEEL THE WAVE OF OUR MESSAGE COMING TOWARD THEM. THEY MUST KNOW THAT WE ARE MAD...AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!!

THIRD:

Give them a day to take action and then write to the entire group again. Ask them if they made their calls and wrote 4 simple letters (four letters is NOTHING in comparison to what our service men and women are doing for us, they deserve every moment it takes to write them!) Remind them our service men and women are not looking for care packages with baby wipes this month, they want care packages that bring them home!! THEY ARE DEPENDING ON US!!

FOURTH:

I (without apology) will do what I can to keep this kicked, the people in Washington must hear how we feel and they must do something about it. CONTACT 70% OF AMERICA, NOW!!!

We'll have about 3 days of mass communication and re-group to discuss the next phase.

THANK YOU!!

9. This kick is for the soldier in front of me in the check-out line yesterday
He said it was his first day back home from Iraq and his cart was full of the junk chips and cookies he'd craved the past year. I told him my words weren't sufficient enough but I thanked him for taking care of us. I don't know if he could hear all I said through the emotion that was wrapped around my vocal chords. He tipped his head forward a little and said 'no problem'. No problem!! He raised his hand and swore to protect us from all enemies and he went where his commander in chief sent him without thinking twice. I hope he knows how much I appreciate him. He is one of the reasons we have to do right by them, he's the reason we have to make sure his commander in chief is making decisions that aren't only going to benefit corporations and his buddies.

19. Why are they so afraid of Bush? There must be a reason for such
Bush is a criminal and should be treated as such, so...Why the games?

Campaign finance reform ASAP! It's about "We The People" not "We The Corporations"!

20. That's what's so stupid about it, if it is political games and they're
doing this to make sure they get re-elected next time, they're not thinking that through. 3 days ago it was the Republicans who were talking about Bush cooperating so THEY would secure the vote of moderate Republicans next election. Democrats were on the right track and doing the right thing, they blew it.
