Seriously, this was a point on Bill Maher's show a week ago. Why is it that only Democrat ex-politicians (is there such a thing as ex-politician?) run programs that try to help people. Jimmy Carter has been a wonderful example of this of course, as well as Bill Clinton.

These Republicant's just hoard the money I guess? Did Nixon do anything? Or Ford? Because I know Chimpy and Reagan sure didn't, and the current crop would probably rather die than donate a dime to "those people".

Look at how old Carter is and how many he's helped. Clinton had serious health problems and could have sat on his butt, but is still helping others.

I hadn't thought about it, but that's a good example of the difference between a Democrat and a Republican. One gives of themselves and the other takes all they can, while watching the suffering with disdain. How sad.
