FATAL ACCIDENT.-John Messersmith, aged 10, while working in the Pail
factory at Two Rivers, on Saturday last was caught by a belt, and
before the machinery could be stopped was carried ten or twelve times
around the shaft, and so much bruised and mangled that he survived
only about 20 minutes. The frequency of such accidents calls for
increased care on the part of those who are employed around machinery.
