They have an immense responsibility and they wanted the job. It didn't come with a honeymoon period and if there was one, it's over.

How do you think they are doing?

1. They're a total disaster. They were elected for certain reasons. People

from both parties trusted them to do the right thing.

The Repub. forces are dug in pretty hard and it's going to take longer than a few months to undo the damage of the B*sh administration. Stop with the kangaroo court nonsense. Some people are determined not to ever be satisfied with anything.

6. Our elected Dems

keep driving home the perception that we are a party that doesn't fight back. Maybe that perception has become a reality.

7. They promised to change the course on many different levels

and they don't have the backbone. Gore's response to tony snow's criticism was an example of how to deal with the BS thrown out by GOP leaders in the congress.

Inject their faults as part of a one sentence response. And don't try to be cute about it. "...unlike the presidents SOTU, my book was fact-checked."
