If they are gonna vote you out, go out on some shit you believe in, not w
Some weak ass wet noodle bullshit you cobbled together hoping they'd give you some votes.

7. 2things. 1. Money and 2. If they want a republican they will vote for one. I did say that right?
Some people really want a republican. We have to accept that. We will not always win every race just cuz we are awesome liberals.

8. Regardless, I wish it were as simple as "be more liberal."
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 12:43 AM by mzmolly
I don't think it is. Alan Grayson also lost. So did Joe Sestak and others.

16. I realize that.
I just don't think it's that simple. Grayson is one example. Minnesota now has a republican senate and house. We lost Jim Oberstar. I could go on and on...

18. Mull on this
about half the blue dog coalition went down in flames

five point two of the progressive coalition was swept...

Yes it is complex but to say left right is bullshit... but I expect the DLC to throw the progressives under the buss like the last sixteen years and to go right... in fact far right by any international poli sci chart....

The People are lefties, not that they know this, they don't...

The government will go far right...

19. My point was NOT that it's best to move right. My point was that it simply
didn't matter. Feingold/Grayson/Oberstar and others are GONE. They're certainly not mealy mouthed DINO's. This was an election where the party in power (dems) paid for the shit economy the last party left us.

22. It is more complex than that
THE STIMULUS did not go far enough, and Democrats are not good at standing on principles.

That is MY POINT.

Either they find a spine... oh never mind.

I should follow suit, go into fetal position and give up. THis country is fucked up in so many fucking ways that it is not even funny.

By the time we retire, if we are able to, this country will be such a damn fucking basket case it is not even funny.

And no it is not GOP... or DNC... it is BOTH... and BOTH have fucked up the country... some more than others, but it is national policy.

Empires in decline are not fun. And before this is over... we will see a true and full fascist state rise... or worst. Yep, call me Cassandra... but hell, we are so damn fucking fucked... and this "left" is the enemy is damn fucking maddening.

Iiberal best a gopher would win.

I'm talking about in general whe a DINO is running against a GOPer.

Not someone who is already a liberal and @ their liberal best running against a gopher. Some times a gopher is who the voters want regardless.

11. This is what I have been screaming since Obama took office
The Republicans has said over and over that they are not interested in cooperating with the Dems and that the want Obama to fail. Hopefully this election will wake the Democratic leadership and the Obama administration up. if they go down in 2012 I want them to go down fighting.

It appears cowardice is inherent to being a Democrat. You're catering to a right wing theme.

26. We were fighting
We lost because of Bigot populism of the tea party and the economy..not anything that we did. We provided americans with health insurance, cut the middlemen out of loans, ended the Iraq War, stopped loan and credit card sharks, reformed wall street...we did good
