I'm starting to think American voters are just masochists
Edited on Tue Nov-02-10 11:24 PM by CommonSensePLZ
I mean we elect Bush with controversy twice, then we elect Obama expecting a magical fix to everything, now the tea party's getting the house, even with all their craziness and how obviously disingenuous, unqualified and unsympathetic they are.. I'm starting to wonder if the voters really do just care more about drama than the issues or picking the right leaders. Idk... maybe I'm just a little exasperated.

6. Most just go with whatever gets the most media attention.
That's how simple it is. Why do you think yard signs work?

7. I'd blame the mediocrity of the politicians
Was anyone running on a truly populist platform?

Did anyone stand up and say MEDICARE FOR ALL ? A NEW DEAL JOBS PROGRAM!

These mixed R & D results from state to state are becoming more common. There's no way these politicians should be running so close. And they wouldn't if they actually stood for anything

8. They underwent stultification under Raygun
and are getting worse. I am frankly scared, at least during the HUAC and McCarthy hearings and fear mongering people began to think, but at this point I don't know. Hell, even taxi drivers and the people know what laissez-faire capitalism is, Muricans think it is the good form thereof. I am SICK TO HEART! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!

:grr: :grr: :grr:
