Prop 19 is trailing
Right now I am looking at the Chronicle and so far Prop 19 is trailing 55.6% to 44.4%.

4. Lots of winners in keeping the status quo.
Just not the middle-class and consumers.

6. On the News Hour, they already called its defeat.
If it had some real funding I think it would have passed.

7. Not good
But the tide is turning. I say put it on the ballot again soon. And medical marijuana on the ballot everywhere else.

9. 14% Reporting...
No: 1,351,823 56%
Yes: 1,051,981 44%

It's being beaten by about 300,000 votes...which is a LOT! I think a lot of Dems probably voted NO...youth turnout probably not that good either. This was only going to pass if young voters came out to vote. Better to get it on the 2012 ballot when people will come out to vote for Obama's re-election instead of a midterm that many overlook.
