When we went to vote today on no-paper-trail Diebold machines, I said to the judge . . . .
. . . . that I was registering my annual note of displeasure and concern at the existence of these machines, and specifically at the lack of a paper trail.

She said she hears this often. She also said that she would wager anything that by the next presidential race, they will be gone. (Wow!!! Great News!!!) She then let her true colors show as she railed on the Florida and Ohio elections of 2000 and 2004.

:)

2. We have ES&S machines here in NY!!!!!!!!!!!! -puke-
and if there were actual intentions to confuse the voters, they could not have come up with a more complicated ballot. I simply do not believe that it was all unintentional. NO one in their right mind could look at what we had to read today and think that made sense.

I had listened to several radio shows and watched videos about what was going to be on the ballot and how to register one's vote correctly....but I am sure there were many who did not have that opportunity.

3. Well we need to change the State Senate for that to happen.
IIRC That's where the paper ballot bill died.
