Reports Of Voting Issues (Alerts And Call Center Info Too) - HuffPo
Reports Of Voting Issues

<snip>

We're receiving some isolated reports of issues at polling booths.

From David B. (Hartsdale, N.Y.): "I arrived at my polling station in Hartsdale, NY at 8am. Though the polls were supposed to have been open for 2 hours, due to technical issues with the voting machines, no one had yet been able to cast a ballot!! I stayed long enough for the polls workers to get things sorted, but I saw an awful lot of other voters leaving frustrated."

From Diana F. (North Carolina): "This morning, my daughter, licensed Physician, went to a voting poll in Winston Salem, NC, Forsyth County. She was told that the computers for voters with the last initials M through Z "were broken". They took her to a black three-sided, VERY dimly lit booth and told her she'd have write in her selections from the list they gave her. She voted and left. Her major concern was that, even though this was a minor irritation for her, how will elderly and/or people with somewhat poor vision be able to vote under these conditions?"

From A.J. (South Carolina): "In my precinct (#5 York County, Rock Hill, SC), three out of the five voting machines were not working when I arrived first thing this morning (7 AM). This is a heavy voting district and it was surprising to see how few machines they had allotted and, what's worse, how few of those were actually working. The line was already very long and a technician came by around 7:30 or so. He attempted to fix the problem, but the issue persisted."
