1. Switch to Firefox.
I used Safari for quite a while; most of the time it was fine but every now and then it would freeze on me. Firefox hasn't done that. I like it a lot.

I have Firefox, too. It is more stable, but crashes when I play any kind of wmv media on it, so that's when I switch back to Safari.

Whatever. The OP was rhetorical, spitting in the eye of the computer gods. Life goes on...


Oh, and lately I can't type worth a damn, with typos galore. I must be going senile.
