2. Thanks, great shots! But it seems that they were taking early in the day.
When I got there, around 10:00, we had enough room to sit on the grass, but by 11:30, we were shoulder to shoulder, and couldn't even bend over!
Maybe I was in the wrong spot. . .but it looked like everything in front of me was just as crowded, all the way up to the top step of the National Art Museum,West!
Great rally!

8. If you look more carefully, they were wearing fatsuits.
read some commentary on them as well, which helps when looking at the photo - they were drinking from jugs labeled "high fructose corn syrup", and had those scooters (did you read Matt Taibbi's article about the Teabaggers in Rolling Stone a few weeks back?- Taibbi writes about a Teabagger Rally in Kentucky, where someone mentions to him how many of those at the rally (and pretty much all of Kentucky) has those scooters, which are paid for by MEDICARE, yet they all shriek about eee-vul "socialism"). Also notice the pamphlets in the front baskets of the scooters that say "the Consitooshin" or something like that.

Pretty good Teabagger costumes, eh? - not much different from the real thing.

Didn't read Taibbi's article but I see ads for those scooters all the time on TV!

Great Teabagger costumes!
