and that extrapolates to the rest of the MSM

With all the deaths that were the result of the invasion of Iraq based on a lie, and all CNN cares about is:

"Larry King all but accuses Wikileaks founder of rape"

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/10/larry-king-accuses-wikileaks-founder-rape/

With faux you know what they are, cnn tries to sell the image that they are balanced

1. indeed... I agree
At least FAUX doesn't try to hide their corruption. CNN adds deceit by trying to do so.

3. They dare call it "centrism"

But all in all, they're still on the Fox Lite tip.

CNN is struggling because the audience knows where things stand and it becomes almost embarrassing to sit at home and watch hosts who don’t know where things stand...Why would you watch that?
--Laurence O'Donnell, "Chasing Fox," New York Magazine

...The flaw over at CNN is a television flaw...They’re going to please neither side. I would argue it’s much more dishonest intellectually to say the moon is a thing largely made out of rock and is in the sky and makes this circle around the Earth and spins in a certain direction and we can see it in the distance, and to answer that, the man who says the moon is made entirely out of green cheese.
--Keith Olbermann, "Chasing Fox," New York Magazine

There's nothing in the middle of the road but yellow stripes and dead armadillos.
--Jim Hightower

2. CNN is the media outlet that has...
ANDERSON COOPER always saying "both sides do it." They go out of their way to cater to conservatives. Anytime they are about to report on a story where a conservative did some bad they always first say, "Both sides do it" even though it's not true at all....Anderson Cooper always says this....IT DRIVES ME NUTS!

4. FOX is just the red cape used to enrage the bull, CNN and the vast majority of the corporate media
are the sword used to slay the bull.

Thanks for the thread, still_one.

6. I can't watch CNN except for sunday mornings
CNN just doesn't seem to stand for anything, not the truth, not the left POV, not the right POV, they come off as being for sale.

7. But any righty talking about the "librul media" will tell you CNN totally skews left!
NBC/MSNBC are next, followed by CBS and then ABC. CBS hasn't totally erased the "Dan Rather stain".

They've been taught from birth about the "librul media" and facts don't matter. They also believe that Fox is "fair and balanced"! :eyes:

8. I watched the King interview and thought it was fair. Asange said essentially
that rape was trivial. King corrected him on this assertion.

Asange also denied the allegations, which is all that was required of him, provided they're false.

"Well, I mean, it should be obvious that these things are not in balance and they are not proportionate. It is not right to bring in sensational and, in fact, false claims, a relatively trivial matter compared to the deaths of 109,000 people. And it is -- I mean, CNN should be ashamed of doing that. And you, Larry, you actually should be ashamed, as well," Assange shot back.

"All you had to do was to say they were false. When you say they were trivial, rape is not trivial. To say they were false, that's your answer. They're false. That's fine. That's all we wanted to hear," King concluded.

thereby proving his point...

12. Had King simply said, "Rape is not trivial matter"
Edited on Tue Oct-26-10 01:46 PM by rocktivity
then he would have been correct.

Innocent until proven guilty, and all that.

I've seen him being interviewed on a few other channels and they just asked him about the leaked documents. CNN is the only channel I've come across who have been bringing it up/ Apart from Faux, probably.
