And from what I have heard, it sounds like Johnson is a real tool.

5. I think this is a revenge for Feingold-McCain CFR that was overturned
thanks to the idiots at the SCOTUS

And they're making an example out of him.

Feingold will have the last laugh though.

Watch.

6. Wisconsin is a boderline blue state
and the only reason it is blue is because of Madison and Milwaukee.

9. reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated
there are issues with polling methodology:

http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/ask/article_2aac3caa-debe-11df-b7c2-001cc4c002e0.html

and the fact that the latest polls show him within the margin of error

12. I watched him debate Johnson last nite on Cspan - Russ wiped the floor with Johnson.
He made Johnson look like a complete fool.

Did anyone else watch? Russ was so in-tune to the citizens of Wisc, all Johnson could do was talk about how he knows how to run a business.

I expect those poll numbers to change.

15. Johnson is a liar liar liar IF you have heard his ads
I've posted this all over. I live in MN and our cable company runs his ads because they carry both WI and MN. He is telling everyone, for example, that Russ Feingold personally voted for tax increases and in so many words he is blaming Feingold for the deficit. Never mind that Bush is the cause of most of the deficit.

He says he is a family man over and over and over. His ads run nonstop in all the cable shows. I am so sick of them I keep the remote in my hand so I can mute the channel.

16. It's the economy...
However, the polls I watch have them four points apart, which is the margine of error in those polls. We will see if a GOTV can make a difference.

17. Wis. used to be a very liberal state --
blue-collar, union, Democratic, relatively enlightened re- racial matters. Milwaukee had a socialist mayor for years, and as a result, had the best public edu system, park system, freeways and other infrastructure of any city I've ever lived in.

But it's a long time since I lived there.

The point is, enough bad media can turn a good state bad.

18. Russ,s numbers have come up. He is getting Newspaper Endorsements
Russ is the Liberal Target by Republicans and has been
all along. Just like Boxer in California and Grayson in Fla.

Democrats with spines, and not afraid to speak their mind
are a threat to the Conservative Cause. This year they
have gone after them hard.

I am hoping Russ can pull it out. His opposition apparently
made some snafus and had some deer in the headlights moments
in debates. I think this is correct. I picked up that
3 Newspapers have endorsed Finegold. I do not live in
that state and have to pick things up here and there.

For whatever reason the Media has not been covering the
race for the last week. I will be real cynical and
speculate, they did not want to give any bad coverage
to Republican.
