New York, Sep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The United States Senate’s Minority Leader John Boehner ignored a question by a liberal blogger on his alleged affair with a lobbyist.

Boehner cannot be dodging that particular question forever because analysts say the issue will be a major campaign issue in the upcoming midterm elections. The issue is supposed to be New York Times expose in the upcoming days and insiders on Capitol Hill says the expose will detail the alleged affair.

The sources say the Times is seeking to drop the allegations in October to greatly disturb Boehner’s bid for reelection.

Meet Lisbeth Lyons her name has been associated lately to congressman John Boehner, so what really is her relationship with him? Is she his alleged girlfriend? Alleged Mistress? Friend? What is the latest on this political sex scandal? How did his wife react to the alleged cheating allegations?


For many of you who are not too familiar with Lisbeth Lyons’ alleged love interest, he is the 60 year old republican politician from Ohio, a Xavier graduate, Navy veteran, married to Debbie for the past 37 years, father of Tricia and Lindsay, former member of Ohio House of Representatives and currently a Minority leader of the United States House of Representatives , you know enough about him, now let’s move on to our sexy lobbyist gal, who is Lisbeth Lyons?

Lisbeth A. Lyons is a former public school teacher in the Chicago area. In 1990 she went to DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where she got her Bachelor of Arts three years later. In 1998 she got into The George Washington University (candidate of Masters of Art in Political Management in 2001).

Ms. Lyons now resides in Washington. She coordinated special Presidential events for the White House Office of Public Liaisons, she then arrived at the NFIB or National Federation of Independent Business where she became their Director of Legislative Services and Grassroots, she was also a familiar name to many regional, family owned telephone companies and telecommunication companies from little to the big ones (like BellSouth, Verizon and SBC) when she became a director at the USTA or Government Affairs at the United States Telecom Association.

But her big shot came in March five years ago when she started working with Printing Industries of America and they named her their Vice President of Government Affairs at their Washington Offices and lobbyist.

Until now everything looks pretty normal, so why is Lisbeth Lyons being referred as his alleged mistress, alleged girlfriend and even alleged partner in this sex scandal? According to Mike Stark, Blogger and activist, he heard about rumors of the alleged affair so he began digging.

According to the New York Times, Boehner is allegedly getting a lot of cash from this lobbyist, they came up with a full list of ridiculous expenses, but what they mostly emphasized is that his relationships with this lobbyist seemed especially deep.

But to Mike that wasn’t enough especially when in his report he said he heard Lisbeth Lyons’ name not just as his lobbyist but as his alleged mistress as well. Although he never specified if his sources are 100% reliable.

He found the famous leader at the Pledge of America event and asked him if he was having an affair with Ms. Lyons, but he didn’t get the response he expected, only silence. Convinced that there was something shady about this whole thing he contacted her, but once again found not the expected answer or so he said.
