When you see these vintage ads, you'll realize that Don Draper isn't so bad after all. Real Mad Men was way more racist, misogynist, and pedophile oriented.

2. The sadest part

is that a lot of those ads wouldn't be banned today - in fact, with a few minor changes, most of the sexist ads still do run today. Women are still reduced to body parts and violence against women is still subtly (and not so subtly) condoned in print ads.

6. Beware- some of these may be photoshopped. Many are authentic but I've seen similar examples before

and a few were exposed as recent photoshops "in the vein of".

The one where Lysol is advertised as a douche freaks me out.

I even tried to copy her hairstyle with little success.
