Meg Whitman campaigns at Philippe's Restaurant
Oct. 13, 2010 | Frank Stoltze | KPCC

Meg Whitman stepped inside one of the oldest and still hottest lunch spots in downtown Los Angeles.

“Anyway, are we going to get a sandwich?”

Lisa Nebbit of Tustin is also a Republican. She took issue with Jerry Brown's aide who called Whitman a 'whore.'

Even though he didn't say it, she said "I think it shows a sign of his character."

3. THis whole thing reminds me of the
McCain supporter calling Hillary a b*tch.

McCain didn't say it, Jerry Brown didn't say it. Why won't this story die?

For the record, whore and b*tch are both despicable words that should never be used when referring to a woman.

4. If it's good for the gander, is it good for the goose?
Will Meg Whitman be held responsible for everything every one of her employees said during her time as CEO? Is it fair to infer that those, too, are signs of her character, even though she didn't say or do anything her employees said or did?

No doubt "that's different" in MegWorld.
