Joe Biden boldly goes where President Obama can't

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The White House’s preferred 2010 campaign plane is Air Force Two.

Vice President Joe Biden has been zipping around the country in the cozy Boeing 747 with the freedom to go where President Barack Obama cannot. He’s raised millions of dollars for Democrats in the process and continues to be an asset in places where Obama might be a detriment.

While the White House has to be selective about where to deploy the president in this volatile election cycle, Biden can appear with just about any Democratic candidate who is on the November ballot.

And he does. Over the past three weeks, the vice president has campaigned for 18 candidates in 23 cities in 16 states. He’s been on the road doing campaign events four days a week since mid-September, and he’s committed to at least 18 more events during the 3½ weeks before Election Day.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Joe Biden/Hillary Clinton ticket in 2016. I know it's too early to consider. Just musing...

1. That would probably be the oldest ticket ever
Biden would be 73 and Hillary 68

LOL. Hey...but, amidst all the yelling and screaming on both sides, don't they just come across as the grown ups in the room. I think they would add instant credibility and stability to the country. Admittedly, there may not be much rock star appeal. But, I think the next phase is going to be that the voter is looking for leadership and guidance. I think both Biden and Clinton could pull this off without much effort at all. No learning curve necessary. I think they would easily stack up with anyone the republicans attempted to squeek through.

They're best hope right about now is if Christie can simply not self destruct AND wants to run. I don't know anyway else with the same amount of name recognition on their side that would stand a chance. They just wouldn't be taken seriously.
