O'Donnell far behind, new polls say
TRENDING: O'Donnell far behind, new polls say

(CNN) – One week before a Delaware Senate debate co-moderated by CNN's Wolf Blitzer, two new polls indicate Democratic Senate nominee Chris Coons has a large lead over Republican counterpart Christine O'Donnell in the battle to win the seat held for nearly four decades by Vice President Joe Biden.

53% to 36%

5. And her opponent was polling better than Coons
The tea-baggers have managed to vote themselves right out of a senate seat. Delicious irony.

11. She has NEVER been a "contender"
This is not her first rodeo... she's a perennial "runner".. She runs (ran) because as an under-the-radar candidate, no one paid that much attention to her, and it was a clever way to collect donations & augment her income.. She's been doing this for a while now.. This time around she "caught fire" in the Post-Palin Frenzy..... the tea bag people love a "cute gal", so she found herself being crowned as their Delaware Princess.

It backfired on her though, because she's never gonna win..no matter her opponent, and NOW she has extra-added scrutiny on her "money-habits", as well as having all the really stooooopid shit she's been blurting out as a paid-pundit/verbal bomb-thrower for DECADES, dragged out & watched with a new fervor.

13. "Christine, what is your position
on abortion?"

"I am not a witch, Wolf."

"...On education?"

"I am not a witch, Wolf."

"On tax cuts?"

"BURN, MORTAL!"

This promises to be a fun debate.
