Rupert Murdoch Gives Voice to Phil Gramm, the Meyer Lansky of the War Party

Phil the Turd penned this in today's Wall Street Urinal in order to perpetuate the Big Lie that Obama's stimulus didn't work: Echoes of the Great Depression.

What Rupert's toads in print didn't bother to report was that, as a US Senator from Texas, Phil Gramm was one of the chief architects of the deregulation and fiscal policies that enabled massive rip-offs by Wall Street banksters, the Military-Industrial Complex and their servants in gubmint.

In fact, after he left the Senate, Phil became vice chairman of UBS, the Swiss megabank that shields American tax cheats. One would think the law would go after them, full-throttle, but no: Judge Cuts UBS Tax Cheat A Break. And the whistleblower? He's in jail.

America, we have a problem. The wrong people are in jail.

1. and Phil's wife got away with a few bucks when Enron went down.
She was on the board of directors when Enron was ripping off California consumers. In fact, she was on the board's audit committee. She's even paid money to settle claims against the Enron board. Claims that argued that the board of directors were guilty of insider trading!

Just an American family, trying to get ahead. (sarcasm)

2. Wendy Gramm has done her part for the common billionaire.
A family affair

Sorry, mediaman007, Robotstxt has blocked access -- even the Wayback Machine -- to an earlier post: Guess who ties ENRON to BCCI?

So in the spirit of stomping out warmongers: BCCI connects straight on through 9-11.

3. Recommended. It's good to know our biggest enemies by name, and Gramm
is definitely one of them. The stupid tea-baggers should read up on how Gramm slipped in the Commodities Futures Modernization Act into the budget without anyone knowing what the hell was in the bill.

Can you say "Read the bill," tea-baggers? Because that is one bill that should have been read and never should have been passed. Of course the concept of a credit default swap is way beyond their mental capacity. It's easier to let FOX give you talking points, even if they are pure BS.

5. This man and his wife both should stay under the rock where they went to hide.
I hope someone in the media does a 10 part series expose on this couple.

Industrial strength. Couldn't stomach all the number crunching, but scrolled down to the graphs characterizing the current situation and I won't want breakfast for a while, tyvm. What do you think? Orange his color too? Jailhouse jumpsuit orange, I mean. This poser and his ilk, of both then and now are a poison to the people they peddle themselves to as a solution to the problems they brought to bear to the suffering of us all. As much as I want to ask why anyone thinks anyone would listen to this weasel in a spendy suit spews.

UGGITY. Hell in a hand basket looking like a safer bet every darned day.

Recommended; Thanks for posting.
