Ike Skeleton Determined To Keep The Occupations Going At All Costs
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (Righthaven LLC?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, I’ve decided to give ya’ll an unhappycamper summary of the article and a link to the OP. To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.

To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: Warmonger Ike Skeleton determined to keep the occupations going at all costs. Hey Ike, the military consumes 58% off all discretionary finding in 2011. How much is enough for 2012? 65%? 75%? 80%?

DoD Buzz: No Cuts Now, HASC Tells DoD
By Colin Clark Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 12:24 pm

The top members of the House Armed Services Committee signaled today that they will not accept cuts to the overall defense budget, arguing that a nation at war cannot afford them. And a senior member of the committee from Virginia threatened to issue subpoenas if Congress does not get data and documents from the Pentagon very soon about the underlying reasons for the closure of Joint Forces Command.

4. The Wars For Profit Are Still Off The Books...
If you think Skelton is a contractor's best friend, just wait til the GOTB gets in charge...the corporate welfare gates will flow, defecits will soar and the Democrats will get the blame...Skelton will then push for even more money for contractors and other MIC lobbyists and donors. What's he care? He doesn't feel the pain his death merchant benefactors have inflicted around the world, including thousands of families here in the US. War is big money...the lives? That's "collatoral" damage.

5. It has been one of my greatest disappointments
That I've been unable to cast a vote against this clown. He is nothing more than a warhawk 'Pug in Dem clothing. He has needed to go for years, but keeps managing to win.
