4. I like it and I would wear it if I could afford it.
Putting together a print fabric like that is very tricky. Of course Mrs. Obama has the advantage of height to carry off large print patterns that like, which she does very gracefully.

7. That kind of pastel floral pattern on a BLACK background
Edited on Sun Sep-26-10 04:35 PM by smalll
just seems wrong to me. I could see it if it were some kind of bright color floral pattern, but that pastel on black just doesn't strike me well.

I will give Mrs. O credit for trying though -- she's not afraid to try a variety of different looks and styles, which is nice.

8. It is nice. Simple. Sweet. Low key. Non-offensive.

9. She is so beautiful that she could make a burlap bag look stylish.
Pure class without being too flashy.

10. In my not-really-too-humble opinion, Ms O could probably wear a barrel or flour sack and still
radiate a calm friendly intelligence. So as far as I'm concerned, she can wear whatever she wants: if she decided to wander around DC in hip-waders and a fishin cap, I wouldn't care

11. She always looks nice...
Personally, I'd skip the full, flouncy skirts because they always add pounds, but I like more tailored clothes. Interesting that she always looks as though she is more uncomfortable wearing flats, then she does her heels.

12. I really wish the First Lady would give up on......

dresses where the sleeves end right above the elbow and the skirts hit her right at the knee. That looks awkward on anyone, her included. For awhile it looked liked she had dumped that look, but it appears to be back. No, no, no!

13. It's fall now
You have to expect longer sleeves and hems. She still has killer arms, and she looks best when showing them off in sleeveless frocks.

14. I never liked prints and still don't but she can handle them
I think her best shot was that gorgeous red dress. It made her look so so regal. And also the blue pants suit next to Laura Bush's yuky looking dress.
