Gov. Christie confronts heckler at California GOP candidate's political rally
Published: Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 10:43 PM

LOS ANGELES True to his tough-guy persona, Gov. Chris Christie mixed it up today with a political naysayer, who heckled California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman at a political rally.

Christie was concluding a town hall meeting with Whitman when an angry audience member criticized her for not taking questions.

"What are you hiding?" shouted Ed Buck, in jeans and a light shirt in the front row of the 400-person event. "Youre looking like Arnold in a dress," he said in a reference to outgoing California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Before Whitman could respond, Christie stepped down from the stage and got in Bucks face.

"Hey, listen. You know what. You want to yell, yell at me," Christie said, shutting down Buck as Christies bodyguards calmly but quickly approached the two men. "Its people who raise their voices and yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. Were here to bring this country together."

14. She was probably passing through the crowd, getting to the stage
Shaking or grasping hands both left and right, and his was the last hand before she got where she was going.

When your belt has to be worn that far north of the Equator, your boiler is overheating.

Seriously, that belt is north of the Tropic of Cancer. Not a good look.

Is this normal? Elected Governors campaigning for candidates across the country?

Seems to me that his time would be better spent taking care of problems back home.

Or, question Bewsh II's wasteful war/tax cut debt and you're being an "unpatriotic tax-n-spend LIB!". Question Obama's spending to get out of Bewsh's mess and all of a sudden, debts and deficits DO matter.

Funny how that works . . .

"True to his tough guy persona." That's rich...tough guy with how many bodyguards?

Why would "the heckler" want to yell at Christie, wasn't it a rally for Meg Whitman? Is Christie that out of touch he doesn't get that Whitman (although a woman) is running for political office and open game for criticism? What a big bully doofus.
