Our country is in trouble!
I just don't understand how, Republican, Democrat, Independent, or whatever the affiliation, can not grasp that we're all being played like marionettes while the rich get richer, the rest of us get poorer, and the politicians do jack shit.

I've come to the conclusion that if a hell of a lot of people don't open their eyes as to what is really taking place we're screwed!

I'm just moaning the blues for the state of our country.

I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues

3. Call for mandatory voting...
Edited on Tue Sep-21-10 03:18 PM by Ozymanithrax
As long as voting in most elections is left to only the warriors on the right or the left, there will be no change.

On the other hand, I have no problem with the rich. I am a liberal and liberalism grew out of and champions individual rights, as the acquisition of wealth is a side effect of individual rights. I do have a problem with money purchasing access and power.
