Howard Stern looking to leave Sirius...move to app podcast.
Interesting idea. I'm not interested in listening to him but I love his recognization that there is a whole world of opportunity in Apps.

I love technology.

1. He's still alive?
Who knew?

I guess the six people still listening to him knew that, but no one else would.

2. Never listened to him, but he does have a large following on Sirius
Can't quite figure where he expects to end up, but he seems to have amassed enough millions$$ for mulltiple lifetimes.

3. My 30 y/o daughter has been a Stern fan since grade school and she has Sirius
just to listen to him.

Mom's been paying her sirius subscription every year as a birthday present and I'll be glad if he leaves so I can save $200+/yr.

6. He might be thinking about it like Simon Cowell does.
Fox owns American Idol. Cowell owns X Factor. Cowell makes more money there. Howard would probably own the entire show online meaning more money for him. I don't think it's a good move. People don't need even more devices to find him.

7. He's always done it like that
He always makes big noises when a contract renewal is coming up about retiring, or jumping, or so on and so on. When he made the move to Sirius, he didn't talk about it much before it became a done deal.
