Anti-Dem Propaganda Watch #6 - "Analysts: White House Panicking Over Elections"
Anti-Dem Propaganda Watch #6 - "Analysts: White House Panicking Over Elections"

Here is more corporate media propaganda for those of you to make the case that President Obama should move either to the left or the right. Is it just a coincidence that all this "analysis" sounds so familiar. What ever happened to anti-plagiarism standards? Also, you have to love how the theme of this "analysis" is that the Democrats need to move right.

They get it. There's panic. There's concern," VandeHei said. "The reality for this administration stinks, politically and practically, when it comes to the economy. You're not going to be able to change that 9.6-percent unemployment figure. You can't get anything from Congress in the next couple of months."

CBS Congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes said the Democrats are distancing themselves from President Obama.

"Not only are they running away from President Obama, they're running away from being Democrats in some cases. In some races you actually see the Democratic candidates not really mentioning that they're a Democrat in their campaign ads," Cordes said.

Smith asked his guests to try to identify the source of the discontent: "From your experience on the Hill, have you heard any Democrats in private conversations say, 'You know what? We went down the wrong road. We went after health care. We went after so many other things on the Obama agenda as opposed to, in the end of the day, it's all about creating jobs?'"

2. Wouldn't it be nice if they'd report on what is actually happening
instead of what they wish was happening.

One more reason I don't watch TV or read newspapers anymore.

3. Note to the popular media
Politics isn't pro wrestling. The excitement you all feel about the prospect of another "sea change" election is the same old excitement you felt about the beginning of the Iraq invasion, isn't it? Remember how Iraq turned out? Well, at least how it turned out for the vast majority of citizens who weren't war profiteers? Whipping up the "panic" angle on the Democratic side of the political divide is pretty much the same thing. What you're wishing for isn't good for the country.

4. Someone's unreccing this faster than we can rec it.
It was on the greatest page, then when I clicked on it, it had 3 votes. I recced it again, and it still had 3.

Apparently pointing out the bullshit in the air gets you unrecced by the people who want to believe the bullshit.
