The only thing that repubs are winning is the mind game on Democrats.
The subliminal messages that they feed to the media, who immediately use it for front page news infinitum, are now being given to the public. I don't believe that everything is as bleak for the dem base as is being portrayed. However, the more we assist them in sending this message to voters, the more voters feel it is hopeless, their vote won't count and they will stay home in November. We need to counter this foolishness if we want to survive. If we don't, our worst nightmare will be John Boner with a gavel in his hand.

1. Dude you are so right!
And does this country want Mitch the Bitch McConnell & John the Boner as head of their respective parts of the Legislative Branch?
Just imagine....Mitch running the Senate & Jonn running the House.

My God, we'll be the laughing stock of the world. Even worse than the Bush years.

4. I hear all this talk about "Republicans WILL take the House" . . ..
. . . but really don't see any presentation based in absolute fact that it will happen. Not that we should be complacent by any means, but I don't think this is going to be a defeat. No one wants to go back to 1994 again.

6. We've been told by the Main Stream Media the Democrats would lose the House since January 20, 2009
The whole MSM has not even tried to hide it. They have been grooming the voting public for the November mid term elections for two years, and most conservatives are buying it.

The only problem is that the individual voter makes up their own mind on election day. This election is not going to turn out the way the MSM has it planned. We will keep the House of Representatives without question, and the Senate will be a wash with Democrats only losing one seat.

Sean Hannity will have two more years to lament the fact he was beaten by the Democrats - again.

5. Yeah, they've convinced some of them to adopt the john birch society's agenda, for
example.

charter schools, union-bashing, continuing tax breaks for the richest sob's in the country -- only some of the bircher-supported policies i see endorsed by putative democrats.

8. People haven't forgotten the Bush years yet.
Republicans are famous for relying on people's poor memories of the past to win elections, but this time the Bush administration did so badly that it is unforgettable. A whole new generation will have to vote for Republicans, after history is re-written.
