Excited about candidates on the ballot in Texas this year.
Can't do much about my Congressman, but I think we might have a new Governor and AG!

:woohoo:

7. Not too bad. Early voting in my county is electronic, election day is opti-scan.
Dallas County elected an openly gay Sheriff in 2004, and threw out the Republican Tax Assessor-Collector and County Clerk in 2008.

8. We are more than due for a top-down electoral victory.
And just in time for Census 2010 redistricting...

10. Sessions is mine. :(
And pretty much all of Texas was DeLay-mandered. Thats why the Dems fled to Ardmore, OK.

13. I'm unfortunately in the Arlington area that Barton "represents"
Too bad Cozad didn't get more support after Barton's apology to BP.

23. Yes indeed
And this time, they're being smart and campaigning the whole state. When it comes to Democratic party attention, I live in the nosebleed section of the state - the Panhandle. Both Bill White and Hank Gilbert have been here and it makes a difference. We're so cloistered away up here, that in the past, there were people who literally had no idea Democratic opponents existed.

:hi:
