5. I would go further than Keith did...
...and tell any elected official who wants to stop the building of this community center to step down immediately, as it goes against their sworn oath to uphold the US Constitution. It limits the right of a group to assemble peacefully, and their right to practice their religion. Both iterated in the First Amendment of the Constitution.

There is no question here. Any official who wants to limit the building of a house of worship ANYWHERE on private property should step down, or be impeached.

8. This was one of his better ones
and tied the anti Islam hysteria to all the worst the human race can come up with from the darkest parts of its collective psyche, then told where it would lead if it is not stopped.
