I've been trying to decide how I feel about what Gibbs said and I honestly don't know. I haven't a clue who his comments were directed at. It really feels like a broad swipe at people like us.

Either way, I have come to the conclusion that the Obama White House still caters to the middle and the right at our expense. They want to prove that they're not beholden to libs, lefties, dems, and progressives. They think they can slam us and still throw out some scraps for us to gnaw on for a little while.

The truth of the matter is that they are right about one thing. Most of us will be there at election time voting for the person with a "D" next to their name. A repuke is too unappetizing. A few of us will go to the Green party, but most of us will vote for the "D".

They're right. I'll vote "D".

So, I guess in the end it doesn't matter what he said.
