| 2. You're probably right. That and stuff clearly labeled as |
|
public domain. Press releases are OK, too, as is independently developed material. Newswire is a good source for press releases. Most government documents and content are usable, as they become public property, unless classified.
There's a wealth of material out there that can be used freely.

| 6. Think of it. Dozens of posts each day discussing aspects of DN interviews.... |
|
People turning off Morning Joe and turning on Amy so they can join in the discussion.
A man can dream can't he?

How fortunate for DU that one of the greatest journalists of the last half century is still so committed to informing the citizenry.

| 9. bls.gov and other government websites are not going to sue anybody for |
|
copyright infringement. That is for sure. And it's a safe bet that neither will the NY Times or Washngton Post.
Maybe this LasVegasTimesReview-induced "crisis" can be used to improve the quality of the links posted here.
In any case, if moderators start deleting links to mainstream news sources, this site is GOING DOWN.
The disruptors who have plagued this site recently will have won a tremendous VICTORY.
Let's not panic over being one of 96 "infringers" sued by a right-wing-nut-job in LV since March.
