Caption Ben 'Dirty Dan' Quayle

"I knew Dan Quayle. Dan Quayle was a dad of mine. I am no Dan Quayle."

http://gawker.com/5610320/meet-dan-quayles-very-weird-k...

Former Vice President Dan Quayle's son, Ben, is running for Congress in Arizona, where he lives with his imaginary children. Remember how Dan Quayle was famously airheaded? Well, as Ben's campaign progresses, it's becoming obvious that he inherited that gene.

Ben Quayle's been the subject of a bizarre mini-scandal for the past couple of days, after gossip/sex site TheDirty.com revealed that he'd been a "contributor" in the site's early days as DirtyScottsdale.com, about trashy Scottsdale nightlife. Site founder Nik Richie claimed that Quayle had written under the pseudonym "Brock Landers," which he used to "document his quest to find the 'hottest chick in Scottsdale.'" (Landers is the name of one of the characters from the movie Boogie Nights.)

Quayle, at first, denied all of this. Then he backtracked a little bit, admitting that he'd met Richie and introduced him to an intellectual property lawyer, but nothing else. Then and this is all in one day he admitted, okay, he'd been a regular "commenter" at the site.

the regular way, but where's the fun in that. But you're too smart for that, no matter what they say. . . . You can get creative.' . . . So I've been working on it. How's this 'toe-maka,' or 'tow-tater.' . . . Dad liked them both!! . . . Oh boy!"

12. well lots of people use the internet to get "dirty"
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 03:41 PM by pitohui
i'm not sure how that's bad judgment, there was a time when we would have just called that "safe sex"

be that as it may, i never understand why these dirty dogs want to go into politics, there are lots of well-paying arenas where nobody cares about your after-hours search for "the hottest chick in scottsdale," why not go into construction or the oil industry or something? i mean, ok, quayle's a moron, so maybe the oil industry is out, but there are plenty of idiots who make good money in sales or construction

why politics if you have an active sex life? it's just stupid -- use your connections to start a car dealership or something and have your life and the $ too
