the thread is locked so I can't answer. I don't think it is unreasonable to want either the chance to respond or removal of the post.

10. You could contact the mods privately. Or you could realize that very few people

on DU give a shit about whether someone made a personal attack against you, and the ones who do realize you were attacked. You really don't have to respond to every gauntlet some asshat throws down, you know.

and the mods seem perfectly capable of locking threads since they managed to do that rather nicely. I am simply asking for either a chance to respond or removal of the post that isn't unreasonable.

in the meantime they managed to lock a thread that referenced that thread but the personal attack against me, still there. I know that some DUers are more equal than others but this is getting to be a bit much.

I think it may also help if in your alert you call the mods all kinds of unflattering names. That gets their attentiona and support from site administrators is sure to follow.

Moderators have lives, too, and it could be a while before they get to it.

If it's a personal attack instead of an attack on your post, they will get to it.

Please do not start threads to call out the moderators. If you wish to have a post removed, please alert on it. If the moderators do not remove it and you disagree with that decision, please feel free to contact the administrators of the site.
