1. Although my opinions have not changed, it seems like I was more in agreement when
Bush was in office. Now that Obama is in office, I find myself at odds with a certain group of people on a fairly consistent basis.;(

2. I voted 40-50, but not really for political reasons.
Okay, a small amount is political, but mostly the anti-Democrat stuff.

The majority of what I don't agree with is the pollution by posts about cannon fodder such as moronic TV shows or shit about celebrities. That's not what this site is about. Unfortunately, that takes up almost half of GD on its own.

As far as the posts that are clearly political, most of them I agree with.

3. 40-50% - I am pretty cynical of ALL politicians motives and "ethics",
although I see a few very good ones in congress right now, and I don't worship any politician, even presidents. I find little of interest in the Clinton's wedding plans or Mel Gibson's insanity, and I have no use for the ageism that I find so much of here...(Post xers vs boomers, etc). I am also not happy with the "degrees of leftism" thing-who is more progressive than the other one-among posters...we need to vote for Democrats and keep more of them in office simply because the republicans ARE horrible and a gop victory in ANY ELECTION is a bad and hurtful thing to actual people, not something to score points off to teach conservative Democrats a lesson...
