Poll question: Ah what the heck: Do you favor testing people for drinking and smoking?
And then using those test results against them in some form (like telling others about their behavior, firing them, higher rates in health care, etc)?

3. yes and no.
Volunteering to say...a health plan where you agree to be tested for smoking is kosher, because it does affect your health.

7. The only time such testing is appropriate - in my humble opinion....
Is if there is reasonable evidence to assume that their use of chosen substances is affecting their job.

Realistically speaking, caffeine is probably the only drug that's actually compatible with the workplace itself, but what you do on your own time (i.e. evenings and weekends) really isn't anybody's fucking business as long as you show up the next day in condition to work.

10. Only if you are drunk/high on the job.
If you get caught drunk or high at work the employer should be allowed to test you and do whatever they feel is right as punishment. Random or mandatory testing is a bullshit invasion of privacy.

11. Yes, I am in favour of testing for drinking and smoking ...
... because I believe that people who do not drink and/or smoke are always suspect and, as an American citizen, I have a right to know who they are.

In addition, publicized results for those who test positive (preferably for BOTH) would provide a new list of people I probably want to socialize with.

12. I went with #5 because I'm a purist
Rest assured, once we get past the primaries, I'll go with the consensus choice, however much I'm personally opposed.

13. It's total bullshit!!
I remember the stink when the cops kept trying to do raids on our HS lockers,
way back when....assholes!!

I think the next step is just to tag all the kids with a radio signal tag

- RFID (?) :sarcasm: and just be done with it!!

The only fuckwads that want to do this are the assholes who NEVER spend time
with their kids...they don't even know what they're SUPPOSED to smell like...
maybe they already have so much alcohol in them that they can't smell it themselves???

What a crock!! Keep the police OUT OF THE HIGH SCHOOLS AND the MILITARY AND THE PENTAGON!!!

FUCK BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck Rethugs!!!
