Tonight, They're Laughing At All Of Us
tonight andrew breitbart is laughing at us

tonight sean hannity is laughing at us

tonight glenn beck is laughing at us.

tonight the teabaggers are laughing at us.

shirley sherrod, a valued public employee, her life and career was ruined and destroyed based on a lie.

and our supposed leader and his administration has proven they will not stand up for us. they will accept whatever lies the right wing offers up to destroy innocent people. shirly sherrod is just another victim to be tossed under the bus.

you couldn't wipe the smile off hannity's face as he extolled how this shows the obama administrations incompetence, their inability to manage a small crisis, wiling to throw people under the bus to appear to be legit. they continue their narrative as if nothing happens but moreso with the knowledge they've managed to ruin a poor black ladies life for fun and was a small price to pay to frame the debate as the obama administration more worried about PR than results.

tonight they're laughing at us. they're laughing at obama. and they're laughing at poor shirley sherrod.

thanks, mr president. I'm SO glad I voted for this.

73. President Obama: Call out Fox News Now! Stop this madness!
Deliberate lying to incite people into possible unspeakable acts is dangerous. I believe in the 1st Amendment, but Fox News has long ago destroyed any legitimacy it was once a 'news' organization. And when they sponsored the Tea Party events all across the country they should have had their FCC license pulled.

President Obama: Stop cowering and start leading. If you can't do it then let someone with balls, like Alan Grayson, do your job. You could remain a figurehead while Alan Grayson could courageously lead our country. Grayson doesn't put up with the constant crap as you do Mr. President. We elected you to lead and to fight the evils of the right wing. If you cannot or will not do that, then step aside so someone with guts can do it.

Frankly, the progressives who worked their asses off to get you elected are getting tired of changing your diapers. It's time for you to stand up and be a man who is a leader. Your knee jerk reactions to Fox News stories demonstrate you are not leading anything. You are an enabler of Fox News, making them even stronger because you constantly fall for their idiocy. Just when in the hell are you going to wake up and be a damned leader?

There is a way to get a real leader into the White House and it wouldn't take any time at all. If both the president and vice president resigned the Speaker of the House would fill that position. And if Alan Grayson was voted by his fellow congressmen and women he could be that speaker of the house. I'm sure Alan Grayson would gladly assume the duties as President of the United States, and he certainly wouldn't cower at the sight of anyone in the right wing.

You're just looking for a reason to be outraged.

After the White House fixes the mistake and reinstates her, what will you say then?

Vilsack made a mistake. The White House trusted their cabinet secretary. It's a correctable mistake, and it is being corrected.

The over-the-top nature of your outrage speaks volumes.

62. So who is accountable here? It's certainly Vilsack, and I wouldn't call it
a mistake. Whatever hapened to due diligence? Why isn't Vilsack gone? Does Obama have the power to fire Vilsack? If so, why hasn't he?

Judging by what happened to Ms. Sherrod, decisions about whether people stay or go can be made in the blink of an eye. Will Obama appoint a commission to study whether Vilsack should go?

I can't understand why you think outrage is inappropriate here. Is it because it's one of our own?

and those like you who obviously don't have a problem so much with the real culprits,
the fucking liars, manipulators and fraudulent assholes.....who perpetuated this edited videotape,
and had it playing on air where alleged "Journalists" reside....
and instead have decided to make the President personally responsible
for everyfuckingthing that happens bad ever....
and decided that this administration can't ever make a mistake,
cause that's like so unforgivable.......
and even if Pres. Obama rectifies it the next day, he still gets treated
like shit....cause you know, he was supposed to be perfect
and know everything, and fix everything, and know exactly
who was being fired and hired and why at all times....
and so a 24 hour turn around just ain't good enough,
cause far as some are concerned, his job is just like managing
McDonalds....where one knows exactly who is stealing those Fries. :eyes:

I swear, I'm getting tired of those who believe that Pres. Obama
should be micromanaging this giant government.....
and act like if it was them, they'd do it perfectly......
when that's just a bunch of dogshit.

Some folks are just intent on ignoring, discounting and certainly not giving credit
for all of the good (cause then it wasn't Obama's doing),
and are ready to almost literally hang him for the bad.

It is one thing to root for a pathetic sports team and stick with them through thick and thin... Hell, at least there is that sense of optimism at the begining of every new season. But politics/government affects our daily lives and I shouldn't feel like I am rooting for a "pathetic team"

From what I've seen in the past, President Obama has no problem with intervening and undoing the mistakes *of his employees when he is made aware of the problem.* He cannot be all places at once. Will you people calm down already? All the faux concern is getting annoying. On any given day, most of the people with all the concern are bashing Obama for something else, so excuse me if I don't take your concern seriously.

the fact that the white house is still even giving Faux Noise a seat in the press room shows they're not fully prepared.

the fact that secretary vilsack, rather than wait for the facts or even look at the fact it was ANDREW BREITBART, fire shirley sherrod, shows they're more concerned about faux noise crying than saying, "hey...fuck off...we're taking care of this."

it's EXACTLY like rachel maddow said, who's next?

who are they going to throw under the bus because faux noise has cooked up a story to smear them.

they allowed faux noise to set the tone and the story rather than stand up for their own people.

it shows that they take breitbart's scare tactics more importantly than our faith and votes.

and more than that, people are saying shirley sherrod is lying when she said the white house pressured her out. this is bad policy and obama and his advisors once again disappoint and throw us under the bus than realizing that the source of the information was andrew breitbart....

60. Sherrod was "collateral damage" sacrificed for political expediency in this administration.
Of course, the bobble head "political realists" and "pragmatists" will promote the necessity of it all for the good of the party.

64. adly, this is the environment of race relations that ALL OF US have helped to create.

We've used cries of "racism" and "sexism" as political tools of convenience for so long that the general populace can't tell the difference between the fake and the real thing now.

72. I don't take blame for things I don't do.
I'm not accountable for what others do either.

66. I'ts embarrassing for the WH to have acted so fast .....after watching
Ms. Sherrod do an interview today on CNN....she was shocked by the reaction... but...went on to say she always wanted to do a book about her father's life..so...in an odd way..this was a gift for her from that ass breitbart.....IMO a book deal will be offered....she will get mucho rewards and all will be well with her....the WH on the other hand has egg on its face.

75. Hold on there. I am angry at the RW media whores. Why should I be angry at Obama?
He got fooled just like everyone else. He isn't all knowing and all powerful. He is a human being like everyone else. I do not feel that he let me down one tiny little bit.

I think that the press is full of idiots, but that is nothing new. Now, can we forget about this political distraction and get back to work?
