I think the minor children, or those offspring seeking personal anonymity into adulthood, of politicians should be left alone. This joke was in poor taste but jokes often are. At least one of the Senators adult daughters is seeking an entertainment career which falls well within a comedienne's toolkit, right or wrong.

She is a comedienne not a political person I don't think she is trying to assure a "win" at all.
