Bill O'Reilly goes rogue on Sarah Palin
Edited on Wed Jul-14-10 12:15 AM by Project Grudge
Source: The Daily Caller

'“Yeah, the people watching this program have it. We have it. We assume that you as president would secure the border,” O’Reilly said. “But now you have to look inward, and you’ve got 12 million people staring at you. What are you going to have them do?”

Palin talked generally about not giving illegal immigrants a “free pass” and said, “We’re not going to reward the bad behavior.” She even, when asked what to do with immigrants who don’t register with the government, responded: “You deport ‘em.”

But when O’Reilly pressed her to outline what to do with those who do register for normalization, Palin was either unable or unwilling to answer the question: “Bill, it makes me uncomfortable that we’re even going down that path so far when—”

“You have to go,” O’Reilly interrupted. “You have to go down that path because it’s going to come up.”

“This is where it gets very complicated governor,” O’Reilly said to Palin, who wore an expression that could be described as irritated or bemused.'

Wow. She is a loon (as is he.) Will the TEA Party go after Bill?

“I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell.” - Harry S. Truman

* on edit, I know the source is slanted, but you have to get into the minds of these conservatives pundits by visiting their sites.

2. You can tell from her reaction to Bill O'Reilly's answer
that she has no idea what Reagan wanted to do for 3 million illegal aliens, if she had continued her point about Reagan was she going to say that he was for amnesty and totally undercut her argument.

I really think that if Billo hadn't interrupted her she would have said that Reagan supported tough immigration laws and deportation or something.

She is dim.

4. actually.........
that interview aired a few nights ago. The palinbots were FURIOUS and e-mailed their hate mail to Billo.

Last night, Billo read several ANTI-Palin e-mails ON THE AIR (and NO PRO-Palin emails)!

Never thought I would say this, but GO BILLO!

5. What the hell has happened to Bill O?
Well, he is a Roman Catholic and they are known for their compassion toward immigrants. Maybe the Ginch's heart grew a size or two. Just maybe...

11. Fox Hired Palin - Billo Is Threatened And Must Take Her Down A Peg

No woman is going to threaten his position at Fox.

He goes after her for the purest of self interest.

6. Palin says
that Americans here legally have to have the first shot at jobs.

How out of touch is this wretched person?

Generally, emigrants from Mexico have taken on the least desirable jobs. I'm not suggesting they want the least desirable jobs. Who would? It's merely that the least desirable jobs are usually all that are available to them. Does she really believe most Americans would take those same jobs? That's simply not been the case.

Although, I do have to yield the point that these days some of us would take almost any job, something, anything.

Nonetheless, I believe Palin doesn't have the slightest idea of what she's talking about—once again.

I was going to ask why no one calls her on some of her most egregious abuses of logic, but then I realized it was a stupid question. If the country has to depend on Bill-O to hold Palin's feet even in the same county as the fire, then it would be an especially stupid question.

Oh, yes. And also.

7. Palin keeps regurgitating........
"red meat issues" that her fan club likes to hear. That she has almost no knowledge of these issues - beyond the point of her speaking about them - doesn't seem to bother her acolytes. She's a mile wide, and an inch deep. Shallow as a leaky kiddie pool, but she's SO SMART (and cute too, hey fellas :loveya: ) ..............right? :eyes:

Since he's admitted to doing her work anyway.

12. It's amusing to read angry Palin supporters suddenly citing
O'Reilly's claim to be fair and balanced, and complaining that he interrupts his guest so that s/he can't get a word in edgewise. It never seemed to bother them when the guest was a liberal. Heh.

13. Of everything (except in quantum physics) there are degrees.
Look at any two evil people. Chances are, one of them will be verifiably less evil than the other.

Bill O seems to be slightly less evil than the average Fox RW pundit.

Doesn't make him one of the good guys.
