| A layman's primer on dealing with Conservatives |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-30-10 10:56 PM by WileEcoyote
This is a re-post of a reply I gave on an open (non partisan) forum somewhere. Kinda doubt that anyone here will look it up. In fact I'd prefer not to have that screen name exposed. Whatever happens happens i suppose. Not all that important.
The idea I had in mind was about dealing with nuisance Conservatives. Which of course means all of them. However in the reply I was only referring to that particular forum's Conservatives. My new theory is that being very tough on Conservatives is applicable in the real political theater as well. The rank and file not being much different than their fucktured leadership.
What precipitated my statement was the recent improvement of several Conservative's political attitude.I stated that making a Conservative change his opinion can not be done through being nice.
You have to continually dunk the Conservative's head in his own shit.
Here we notice positive results of the constant dipping of (name deleted's) nose in his Republican poop.
This kind of progress we see in (name deleted) never comes from being "nice" to Conservatives. It comes by being a real son of a bitch.
A lesson to all Progressives and Liberals: Do not treat ignorance with kindness. These GOP types suffer from a childhood abuse disorder. Only understand being kicked in the head. It's where they feel the most comfortable.
I'd compare (name deleted) to that desperate person drowning in the lake but whose tendency is to grab and take down his own rescuer. Instead of allowing him to drown both people you need to knock him unconscious first.
For his good and your own. Frankly I enjoy the effort!
Peace through strength.
Progress by being a son of a bitch. Only way they learn.
(Another former Conservative) was a quick study on this too I might add.

| 1. I know my favorite response is "You BOUGHT that???" |
|
followed by laughing and walking away, shaking my head.
Trying to argue them out of their stupidity is futile. Derision at least keeps their mouths shut if they ever see me again.

| 3. Oh yeah laughing out loud at one of their stupid assertions |
|
does it. The thing is it's not a fake laugh for me. I've removed my filter for RW stupidity and I'll laugh naturally. And it will shut them up.
