If the unemployed are so lazy and there are PLENTY of jobs out there
Why is is it that there are SIX people, on average, applying for every job in America? And not just ANY job. ALL jobs.

Telltale stat: U.S. now has 6 unemployed people for every job opening
http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/09/09/telltale-stat-u-s-now-has-6-unemployed-people-for-every-job-op/

And the above article is from September last year.

Considering that in December 2007 there were just 1.72 unemployed people for every job opening.

So where are all these jobs?

It can fit 28 people!

And the magic Volkswagen!

It can fit 72 people!

And cutting taxes will solve every economic problem!

And are you ready for the ULTIMATE magic trick?????

Just vote Republican! That's the magic election theory!

Voting Republican will fix EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15. Libertarianism is Utopianism. Sounds reeeeeeeeeal nice in a perfect world.
In reality, however, it just doesn't work, and doesn't make any practical sense. And to insist that it does implies that the insister is at least partially deranged.

2. The private sector is just sitting on it's fat stack of cash, collectively laughing at all of us.
"I could hire you, but how would YOU lose while I succeed? Can't have that, sorry. Try back in . . . saaaaaay . . . 2013, when the Kenyan is out of office."

These pigs are sabotaging American progress. They want to see the economy die. Why do they care? They got theirs, we don't and likely never will.

4. I agree, they want to see the economy fail
Or more specifically, they want to see it fail while Obama is President.

3. They want it both ways
According to the right, the unemployed are unmotivated to take the available jobs, and there's no available jobs because of Obama.

11. One other "jobless recovery factoid" - right now the average
unemployed person is unemployed for at least 34 weeks.

Since in most households in America, there is only enough available resources to get by for period of two to three weeks, this means there is a world of hurt being experienced by people.

Those continuing the lies do it for sport these days on the way to "theirs"...

Here's some raw meat for you, job applicants.... I'll sit back and watch, then lie some more.

edit: too late to K&R

16. I think that figure is way understated, at least for real world purposes,
I've been told that jobs I've applied for got over 100 resumes. These jobs are not unskilled jobs that everyone would apply for, nor are they great jobs. I understand that a resume is unlikely to get looked at by human eyes because companies get inundated by resumes every time they advertise a job. If there were only six people applying for each job, they would be able to look at all the resumes.
