We need to make a party out of special days of scientific significance - maybe astronomy parties during noted meteor showers, etc.

Why celebrate fantasies when reality is so amazing?

I think we should have parties celebrating a new comet or the latest supernovae!

They're at least based on observable reality and are as spectacular as any volcano or or aurora borealis display!
