Fuck Euphemisms.
It WAS a big fucking deal. Certain people ARE lying assholes. Republicans DO suck. No one is truly shocked by the words or the truth of them today. Those who pretend to shock are hypocrites. And I support Joe Biden, his statement in full, and any Democrat with balls enough to speak the truth. I'd love to see a real Democrat use real conversational english tell in unvarnished terms what it is the Republican party is attempting to do to the country I used to love.

"My esteemed colleagues, the Gentlemen from Texas, his ass sucks wind."...

4. One of my favorite Truman story
Edited on Wed Jun-30-10 11:01 PM by sarge43
At some WH get together, Pres. T was heard over much of the room "That's load of manure!" A DC matron bustles over to Bess and declares, "Mrs Truman, can't you do something about his language?" Bess answers, "Do you know how long it took me to get him to say 'manure'?"

He left no bark on the tree, bless him.

6. Looks like the Dems are getting into campaign mode
And I'm detecting a little more anti corporate tone to their recent pronouncements than there has been in the past. Hopefully it'll work, we'll win a few more seats and be more encouraged to live up to the rhetoric.

7. The pronouncements might be a bit more anti-corporate..
The actions on the other hand won't change much if at all.

8. Well, I have my hopes..........
It's all I've got left! :) I actually DO think that if the anti corporatist rhetoric starts to work, they WILL actually inch to the left some. Nothing succeeds like success.
