Flying cars - I am now AGAINST flying cars

before that I have considered this and have concluded that since the human operators clearly have so much trouble with the left/right/forward/backward elements putting an up/down factor and potentially letting them create their own routes (have you HEARD of donuts in the high school parking lot?) is just not a good idea..... unless I am the only one with the flying car.

12. Well they still have to get flight training for a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) which isn't cheap.

Plus, they have to pass the written and flight test and they have to land and takeoff on a runway.

30. The big difference is you have to be certified by the FAA to fly it

You pretty much get an unlimited number of fuckups in a car and can retain your license. The FAA is far less tolerant. You occassionally get pilots doing stupid things in aircraft, but this is the exception, rather than the rule. Even a sport pilot certificate will cost you several thousand dollars to get and considerably more just to stay proficient. Most pilots aren't willing to risk their certificate doing stupid stuff.

You can already create your "own routes" in a plane all you want. This particular contraption changes nothing.

Bus comes and lands in the street in front of your location, you get on or get off and it goes straight to the next pickup or dropoff, all computer routed for maximum efficiency.
