CHART OF THE DAY: Reminder, The Deficit You're Freaking Out About Is Bush's Fault
http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-bush-policies-deficits-2010-6?utm_source=Triggermail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=CS_COTD_062810

President Obama's administration has been blamed for reckless spending that has put America into its debt hole. But in reality, much of that spending emanates from policies of President Bush, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

They argue that Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Bush tax cuts (along with the economic downturn) are what is driving the U.S. deficit, not stimulus spending. The CBPP focuses on lower to middle income issues and may be directly involved with the Democratic Party.

The chart presents the ugly truth.

1. Would somebody PLEASE send this chart to every single Democrat
in Congress, everyone in the White House, and everyone in the media?

People DO NOT KNOW THIS. And Democrats should carry it with them, and provide it when they hear the lie that Obama is responsible for the deficit.

Hang the GOP with this. Put them in the town square with the noose around their neck. Let them explain their lies, but they must be confronted with their lies first, of course.

Thanks for posting. K&R

5. Everyone knows Obama has had plenty of time to fix the deficit
if a republican had inherited a deficit and recession etc they could have fixed it by cutting taxes and removing pesky government regulations that would have made the all hailed free market save us. Obama has had plenty of time to fix it and now people are just looking to the past to blame away his failures.

12. I knew that. We never mention the folks that we reelect time after
time, the ones who actually vote to authorize spending. We single out a president, or the president, so that WE don't have to share the blame for keeping the people in office that we have been complaining about between elections.

This we, we can continue to vote for 'the name you know'.
