Dumpster Diver is a title of Honor in Rhode Island.
Everyone from paupers to Rockefellers takes things off the sidewalk and furniture out of dumpsters.

Only to clueless effete Republicans is this an insult.

Oh and BTW it was a decision giving cops greater drug search powers that legalized dumpster diving

So Why is Palin Soft on Drugs?

2. Back when I hung out with lowlife drug addicts...
...dumpster diving was looked at as honest work.

Unfortunate, smelly, dirty...but honest.

3. I know a lot of people who don't do "Wet work" and still make plenty of money.
And several of them in my area are Small Business owners.

4. Yeah, we....er, um...I mean "they"...
...would go to large apartment complexes, the kind with 3 or 4 trash bins all in the same trash area, and maybe even 2 or 3 of those areas. As long as they didn't make a mess they were mostly welcome. There was always the "well, I never" crowd, but there always is. The problem comes when the trash diggers (as opposed to the dumpster divers) would rip apart every single plastic kitchen garbage bag looking for aluminum cans. Plus, at the larger complexes, someone is moving in or out almost every weekend. Good stuff on those days.
