Obama's biggest mistake?
What do you think?
Taking the single payer health care off the table.
Refusing to investigate the Bush/Cheney White house?
Allowing Wall Street to go unpunished and unchecked?
Escalating the Afghanistan War?

Other?

"What is Obama's biggest mistake?"

Selling out to CORPORATE interests.

10. After some thought on the matter, I agree.
They're all tied to that one issue.

2. Escalating the Afghanistan War
I know more democratic voters who are abandoning him, and the Democratic Party, over Afghanistan than any other reason.

4. Yes,
that was a very bad mistake.

Many young (and not so young) Americans dying in a useless war.

8. Because the people making the decisions are not the ones
doing the dying.

Question: What are the chances of either of President Obama's daughters enlisting and fighting in the Middle East?
Answer: About the same chances as either of President Bush's daughters enlisting and fighting in the Middle East.

THAT is the problem.

16. Useless war~?!?~
Didn't you see the 2 year old news?

They gots lots a' good minerals over there.
Over there being right between Europe and China.

And oil pipelines, too.

It is a very wise business idea for the American Empire to be seated in the middle of it all. And some call it a useless war. What are ya, a damn hippy commie?

That's a surprise.

As a gay man, I regret my support, and now want to give HRC a try.

7. Those are all mistakes.
Add appointing Arne Duncan and supporting an education policy based on privatization and union-busting.

Why does one mistake have to be "bigger" than the rest? They all have harmful consequences.

9. For not smashing the right wing into oblivion
when he had the chance.

Playing nice and reaching across made for a nice campaign stunt, but it was naive to actually try and do it. Not only did he do it but then he let them define who he is. Foolish and stupid.

17. Incomprehensible handling of cleanup and containment
of oil in the Gulf would have to rank right up there in my book.

When it's all said and done, it may be his "Waterloo". I'm not saying he could do anything to stop the gusher, but the Govt's RESPONSE has been one of criminal negligence, and it is being beamed into millions of American homes each and every night.

As they say, a picture's worth a thousand words, and dead dolphins, sperm whales, and sea birds, as well as oil soaked wet lands and estuaries will take their toll in 2012. I suspect every Republican who's even thinking of running for office will be using these images in their campaign ads.

BP is allowed to use their goons to prevent the press from reporting the damage being done to everything in the Gulf, including the workers, thereby doing the Govt's dirty cover up work for them.

The only people who cannot see how egregious this is are those who believe this Admin can do no wrong, and since they are in the minority in this country, their support will not be enough to get Obama reelected.
