A coalition of Tea Party groups is taking aim at Chris Matthews and MSNBC in the aftermath of the network airing a new documentary, "The Rise of the New Right," this week, which the conservative activists charge is a "left-wing propaganda hit piece."

The MSNBC special premiered on the cable news channel Wednesday night, but even before its debut, host Chris Matthews signaled the program's provocative content by saying, "I think that the left will say this scares the heck out of me."

1. It Got More Reaction From The Moderates...
I don't think anything Tweety showed was that "shocking" or disturbing to most around here. I've seen far worse and, sadly, more dangerous. However, there are those in the middle and not paying as close attention that this special could have hit home with. Tweety could have gone further...for example explained that a lot of the right wing craziness is based on racism, but he did draw connections between what the great unhinged say and how the corporate media reacts. That's not always shown.

2. A lot of it seemed like an ad for them especially with Matthews' speaking cadence, so they shouldn't
complain.
