Why Won't Obama Listen to Sarah Palin's Solution To Stop Oil Leak? They Should Have Built Dykes!
Edited on Wed Jun-16-10 10:00 AM by Blackhatjack
When Bill O'Reilly asked Palin how she would stop the oil leak, she criticized Obama for not calling in the Dutch who know how to build dykes.

Oh yeah... there is some Presidential timber here.

Take that President Obama! LOL

See the video at the LINK.

"I tend to think of making fun of Sarah Palin as pretty old hat. I mean, she has to say something pretty silly at this point to make me take notice. But last night she went on O'Reilly to rail on the president for not getting the oil leak at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico stopped. And when pressed on just how he was supposed to do that by all of people Bill O'Reilly, Palin said Obama had really blown it by not reaching out to the Dutch since they proved themselves so good at building dikes and sluices and dams to reclaim land from the sea. Which when you think about it is pretty much the same thing as capping an oil gusher a mile underwater."

1. Palin diminished BP's liabilities in Prudhoe Bay from $687 billion

to 10's of millions of dollars. Her executive order on oil company damages amounted to window washing and was not taken seriously by environmentalists!

She also made the state of Alaska a shareholder in BP and stopped royalty payments to the state of Alaska. This ties Alaska's revenue from an oil company directly to the business fortunes of that company and removes incentives for effective safety and enviromental protections.

4. Sarah just needs to get a Little Dutch Boy to stick his finger into the leak.
And this will all be over.

7. So O'Reilly is not afraid to confront Palin with her stupidity
Never thought I would say this, but good for him. Too bad the other emptyheaded bobblehead freaks on Fox don't do the same. Did she cry? I'm waiting for tears and emotion from that snarky face.

8. Cry?? LOL, She was serious and never understood how ridiculous her "solution" sounded.
As for Billo ... he knows a threat to his leadership among rightwing conservative nutcases when he sees it.
