Is there true communication and listening anymore?

I have watched and listened to the conversations on politics and sports and I see the anger. I see the hate and I see the breakdown of communications as well as listening. I am doing my show today on how to listen and communicate with each other citing techniques I was taught in college, and honestly I fail to use as well as I should. I hope maybe it will help people such as myself, to remember that we must listen and we must communicate effectively to change things. My show airs at 4 pm Pacific, 7 pm Eastern on http://thejefffariasshow.com and calls are welcomed. I hope I do a good enough job presenting the topic and hope enough people listen and call that maybe it can help get us together in our efforts.

How do you discuss issues with people who are being told to hate you? I truly believe hate talk radio and FoxNews is polarizing this country.
