14. They have no idea of the incredible sacrifices that were made by their predecessors in order to make

THEIR lives the piece of cake they are living.

I have heard the same type of remarks made by young women on the elevator where I worked. They spoke of the uselessness of unions. I wanted to bitch slap them and ask them if they knew how they got their paid vacations, 5 day/40hour work weeks, their health care...well, at least they once got that...their minimum wages, their safe working conditions..etc etc. It is very sad that the upcoming generation is so ignorant of what came before them

The same, sadly, applies to their interest in going out to vote. Women DIED in order to ensure the right to vote for all women..and some of these young women could not care less about their responsibility to make sure those sacrifices were worth something.

When good ol' Carly was the CEO of HP, my friend lost her job but before she left, she had to go to Costa Rica to train the two people who would take over her job.
Kicking Carly's butt is something we really would like to do - literally!

15. I'm a lttle disappointed her campaign seems to be locking

into the 'fact based' mode. The rethugs will be going for the gut/feelings/emotion, whatever you want to call it. In a financially insecure, HUGE budget deficit, California economy, facts are not gong to produce security or votes.

We absolutely have to keep Boxer in the Senate. She is our only representative.
